Why It Matters
  • During pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting many things are changing- more than at any other time in your life. This puts a logistical strain on your schedule.
  • Paying attention to the things that have meaning for you in the day-to-day can keep you rooted when so much change is happening.
Some Examples
Peace and Serenity
My morning coffee, even if it is decaf. Having a shower, where I can sing or just have a minute is critical. Ten minutes of meditation works wonders.
Love and Affection
Cuddling with my pregnant body/partner/baby- I do this before I even get up or sitting down to dine with my partner for dinner- even if it is for 10min.Talking to my bff- yes I talk to them on a daily basis.
